Hose Runner

Belvoir Half Marathon
and 4.5 mile Fun Run
Sunday 8th April 2012

Hose Village Hall

This will be the 30th Belvoir Half Marathon and 4 1/2 mile Fun Run.

As usual it will start at Hose Village Hall in the Vale of Belvoir and will follow the attractive, rural course tested over the years. The race will be run under England Athletics rules (Licence No. 2012-103376). The course has a measurement certificate of accuracy (MC/07/046).

The race is 2 weeks before the London Marathon and is said to be a good warm-up for that event. Chip timing will be used, so that your individual time from start to finish will be logged. Many runners have recorded Personal Best Times and this system gives real confidence in the accuracy.

The event is organised by Hose Village Hall Management Committee in order to raise funds to improve the village hall facilities. We get lots of local helpers, so that we hope that it is a friendly event, which first-time runners will enjoy, as well as welcoming back our many regular visitors. Parking is easy and free. Race-followers can relax in comfort in the Hall during the race or watch the race along the course. We provide a wide range of snacks at the Hall, both for the runners and visitors.
